Kate Middleton's certainly been feeling adventurous this week.
Though we seldom see the Duchess of Cambridge veer away from her classic sense of style, Kate has been testing out some looks that are a bit out of her comfort zone lately. She started off the week in a tiara, progressed to a hair ribbon and now she's dabbling in the velvet pants trend.
During a visit to the Shooting Star House Children's Hospice today, the duchess debuted a pair of navy blue skinny pants paired with black Aquatalia wedge boots and a gray Reiss coat. Experimenting with velvet and mixing neutrals? Verrrrry edgy, Kate. (Perhaps she's learning from her cousin-in-law...)
